Almosts hurt too!

"How do you mourn something that never had a name? A connection that didn’t get its chance but still aches like a breakup."

There’s a strange kind of heartbreak in watching someone walk away like nothing ever existed, when your heart still holds everything.

Something made you smile, made you feel seen, understood, maybe even loved. It wrapped you in comfort, only to break you silently. And suddenly, you're left asking: Was it real? Did I imagine it all?

There’s a denial in their silence- a denial of the connection, of the words exchanged, of what felt mutual. When two people are drawn toward something beautiful, something full of potential, it feels impossible that one could walk away while the other still holds on. And yet, it happens.

Sometimes the worst part isn’t the end, it’s when they make it seem like it never began. Like the warmth, the attention, the plans… were one-sided. And the person who once gave it life now blames you for expecting it to be real.

I’m talking about something, nothing, and everything.

We live in a world where many want to feel special, but few are willing to make someone else feel that way in return. You give, you show up, you care, only to be met with silence or blame. No words. No closure. Just a shrug of “you expected too much.”

But relationships, of any kind, aren’t one-way. They require effort. Presence. Communication. If only one person is trying, it starts to feel like too much and still not enough.

Sometimes, there’s chemistry, connection, and a silent pull that feels mutual. But no action follows. No accountability. And you're left wondering if immaturity, fear of commitment, or just plain emotional laziness is to blame.

Because when someone has everything, time, attention, even your care, and they still choose to do nothing… it says more than words ever could.

"Sometimes, we never get the answers we want. Sometimes, all we get is clarity about who we were to them, and who we are now. And maybe, that’s enough to move forward, even if we still carry a little of that ‘everything’ with us."
